Michael began his career in the IP field more than 30 years ago as a patent examiner at the USPTO where he examined some of the first software patents. Since then, Michael has earned a reputation as a world-class IP strategist who knows how to align IP management and value creation with overall business strategy and has been recognized as one of the “World’s Leading IP Strategists” by Intellectual Asset Management Magazine.
John has spent three decades in the information technology sphere, where he has held executive positions for numerous high growth companies. He is Co-Founder of Updata Partners.
Ken is the former Vice President and General Manager of the Global Public Sector group at IBM Corporation, where he led IBM’s worldwide business operations in the Government, Education and Healthcare industries. In addition to 9Lenses, Ken has served on the boards of: Cybersource Corp, Cogent Systems, DataRPM, Infodata, Base Technologies, Hire Networks, Cross Match, Barton College, CFNCR, and Wolftrap.
Danielle is a licensed attorney, author, and well-respected business leader. Throughout her 20+ years experience in domestic and international commercial transactions, including a decade of corporate management, she has played a key role in the successful sale and acquisition of businesses for a variety of organizations around the world. In 2006, Ms. Saunders founded Accelligence LLC, and oversaw the company’s rapid growth as well as its acquisition in 2009.
Formerly the CTO of 9Lenses and CTO and Co-Founder of Plateau Systems, Ltd., Mr. Cohen led the company’s growth over the course of ten years, during which he guided the design and development of an industry-leading learning management system (LMS), assisted with sales and marketing efforts, and helped to launch multiple overseas offices. Mr. Cohen ultimately led the company to its sale to SuccessFactors in 2011, then continued as the VP of Product Management. SuccessFactors was subsequently sold to SAP AG in 2011. Prior to his work at Plateau Systems, Ltd. and SuccessFactors, Mr. Cohen was the CEO and Founder of Sensory Computing Inc.
Tim is a Managing Director at Baker Tilly, and has been a senior executive, managing partner, founder, entrepreneur, board member, senior advisor, workout specialist, and fund raiser for three decades. He has principal investing experience in private equity, real estate, hedge funds, and other financial instruments. Operating in various roles, such as Managing Partner, President, CFO, and Chairman of Investment Committees, he has managed large diversified portfolios for endowments, family offices and corporate pension funds. As principal he created new private equity, hedge and real estate funds. He raised more than $500M in equity and debt and led dozens of direct investments. As board member and management team member he has helped build companies and led M&A activities.
Michael is a corporate partner with Cooley and leads firm-wide lateral recruiting and strategic growth efforts. In 1999, Mr. Lincoln co-founded the Reston office and now maintains offices in Reston and New York. Mr. Lincoln is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Virginia School of Law where he teaches a course on emerging growth companies and venture capital.
Greg has nearly 20 years of experience in the software and technology industries where he develops and leads customer-centric organizations focused on the positioning, architecture, delivery and support of software and hardware based solutions. His background is in the disciplines of analytics, business intelligence, data management, and behavioral applications. Greg is currently the North America VP of Analytics at SAP.
